I've been a serial entrepreneur for over half of my life...

Prior to choosing the road less traveled — as an entrepreneur — I specialized in start-up situations for Fortune 500 companies such as, Gillette Safety Razor Company, Xerox Corporation, Exxon (Office Systems Division), and Federal Express (Electronic Products Division). Principally, in working for these companies, my task was always the same: Assist in opening divisions, penetrate markets and establish competitive dominance where little or no business existed.

In 1987 having received notoriety as a top sales performer, and marketing executive, I decided to leave Corporate America choosing instead the entrepreneurial path, lending my expertise to help a Florida investment bank start up an exciting new venture -- the bank had purchased a South African touch-screen video dispenser manufacturing company, relocated it to the United States (Costa Mesa, CA) and renamed it VideoRated, Inc.

My contract as vice president of sales and marketing was to train industry equipment resellers and dealers in selling VideoRated's "infotainment" video systems: Custom lobby video dispensing machines and in-room guests' television sets with built-in VCR players (both with data mining capabilities - the real business) to the lodging and hospitality industry. And with that move my entrepreneurial mindset further crystallized, and evolved to become my greatest professional passion and achievement.
